Circular Fashion

In an era where the fashion industry produces 20% of global wastewater and 10% of global carbon emissions, we are working with partners and key stakeholders for a more sustainable, eco-friendly and more holistically for a circular economy.

Rather than using linear economy model “take-make-dispose”; in circular economy products are being recycled and re-entered into the economy instead of ending up as waste. Results will drive greater resource productivity, a more competitive economy and without a doubt, it will position to better address emerging resource scarcity issues in the future.

Many major textile brands have taken an initiative to invest in these particular fields in the recent years. As Ozcan Sourcing, we provide services & consultancy to our suppliers and brands on circular fashion where we have the network.

Upcycling

Upcycling is the process where waste materials are converted into new materials. The aim in upcycling is to obtain better quality and higher environmental value products. Upcycled materials might go through a recycling process at the end of their ‘second’ life depending on the item. As Ozcan Sourcing, we are glad to collaborate with our partners on this emerging field.
